		<description>Thanks for sharing, Kelly. I transferred off of &quot;The Good Ship Nashville&quot; in may of 2009 after nearly 3 years onboard. After 14 years in the Navy, I would argue to the death that the Nashville was (and still is) the best ship in the entire fleet. The crew was nothing short of amazing every single day and despite being routinely challenged with back-to-back deployments and difficult schedules, we always got it done. Please leave these photos up for as long as it is feasible, so that others can see what the crew of Nashville was and still is so very proud of.</description>

		<description>I surfed into your post of the USS Nashville pictures today. I served on the USS Austin (LPD-4)from 1971 -1975 and have been to sea with the Nashville. I worked on the flight deck during my duty on the Austin.

These are great photos and thanks for the memories!</description>
